Words can’t define who I am.

My name is Allison Bobbette. I am an author and singer/songwriter. Most importantly, I am an advocate of inclusion for people with special needs. I’d like to share my story with you – and then ask for your help – by allowing me to share my story with your stakeholders.

I am able,
I am not your labels
Words can’t define who I am
Open your eyes and learn from me
Because I am able.

This is me,
No matter what you think and see,
I know every piece of me can face adversity
You might say, that I might never have my day
Well I’m here to tell you nothing can stand in my way.

Because I am able
Yes, I am able
I am more than what you choose to see
Yes, I am able.
Yes, I am able

I have the strength inside of me.

I am able
I can turn the tables
I am daring you to turn your back on me
Cause I will not stop now
I will win this race somehow
I am in control of my destiny.

I don’t care the way some people stop and stare
I believe that Heaven has a plan that’s set for me
Day by day I’ll fill this world with hope and peace
I am here to tell you I can be what I choose to be.
I am able, yes, I am able.

I am more than what you choose to see
I am able
Yes, I am able
You can judge and say that I am not right but I will
never ever lose this fight
I might need some help, someone to lean on
But I won’t stray
I am here to stay.

I am able
Yes, I am able
I am more than what you choose to see
I am able
Yes, I am able
I have the strength inside of me
I am able, I am able.
